The Chicago Composite Initiative (CCI) is partnering with JuneSky, a group of Illinois and Wisconsin students passionate about space exploration, innovation and change with the goal of bringing an interest in their future by pushing the boundaries of science and entrepreneurship. CCI will assist in the fabrication of an unmanned aerial drone to go alongside their past high-altitude weather balloon work. We are also going to work on the development of a solar powered drone aircraft with JuneSky in Summer 2015.
